Account & Subscription

From creating an account to updating a subscription. Make sure you're signed in to the right account, then check the configuration on your device.

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username you can keep track of and a unique password you don't use on other sites. Once your account is created, make sure you can sign in to the user panel before checking plans and client downloads. Store your account details in a trusted password manager rather than leaving them in a temporary browser window. Since account creation doesn't require an email address, don't assume you can recover your password by email, and don't use your subscription link as a login credential. If you have trouble accessing your account, save the on-screen message and never share your full password.

Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch devices?

There is no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time, so changing devices alone doesn't mean you need a new plan. VPNIz supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. Sign in to the same account on your new device, then follow the guide for that platform to get the client and subscription. Device count and plan data are separate: unlimited devices doesn't mean unlimited data. Check your plan details in the user panel for actual usage. When switching devices, first make sure the new one connects properly, then remove the subscription configuration from the old device. If someone else will use the old device, sign out and delete any saved connection details.

Where can I get the client and subscription?

Download the client from the user panel. You'll need to sign in to access your subscription as well. Client downloads are available after sign-in for Windows, macOS, Android and Linux; the iOS download requires an active plan. Open the page for your platform and follow its instructions to install the client, grant permissions and import your subscription. Then check the route list in the client. Downloading a client doesn't provide plan data, so check your plan status in the account after installation. Avoid installers from unknown sources, and don't overwrite your account configuration with a subscription configuration sent by someone else. For platform permission issues, start with the relevant user guide.

How do I update my subscription link, and what happens to the existing configuration?

Sign in to the user panel and get the subscription for your current account. In the client, find the subscription or configuration management page and update it. If the existing configuration can be updated, use its update function to avoid importing duplicates and selecting the wrong one. If an error occurs, check that the link belongs to your current account and that the client can reach the subscription address over your network. After importing, check the active configuration name and route list rather than stopping at the import-success message. Subscription links are connection credentials; don't post them in public forums or include them in support-ticket screenshots. If the page offers a reset option, read the warning before proceeding.

Connection & Troubleshooting

Test your local network first, then check your plan, subscription and app routing. Save the exact error message; it helps more than repeatedly reinstalling the client.

The client won't connect. Where should I start troubleshooting?

Disconnect the client and make sure your current network can reach everyday websites. Then sign in to the user panel and check your plan status and data usage. Update the subscription, try a different region or route type, and check whether the system has granted the client the required network permissions. If other proxy or network management tools are running on the device, temporarily close them and compare the results. Change only one setting at a time and note what affects the issue. If every route fails, save the exact client error and platform details and submit a support ticket instead of repeatedly reinstalling the client or deleting configurations.

Why can my browser connect, but a particular app can't use the proxy?

A working browser connection only confirms that the browser's current requests are completing; it doesn't mean other apps use the same network path. Check the client's operating mode, per-app settings and rule matches to make sure the target app isn't set to connect directly. Some apps don't automatically use the system proxy, so check the client and app documentation for the right network settings. After changing a rule, fully close and reopen the app so it doesn't keep using an existing connection. If the issue affects only one app, distinguish between a network failure, an account region restriction and an error from the service itself. Not every error points to a route problem.

The client says connected. How can I check whether my exit IP has changed?

A connected status means the client has established a connection, but whether a specific request uses that route also depends on the operating mode and rules. Open the IP check page on this site and compare the exit information before and after connecting, then test the app you actually need to use. If the browser's exit IP changes but the target app still has a problem, check that app's rules and connection logs in the client. DNS lookups may follow a different path from web traffic, so a displayed region alone doesn't prove that every request goes through the proxy. Interpret the results in the context of the app you're using. Before sharing troubleshooting screenshots, hide account details and subscription links.

What information should I include in a connection support ticket?

Sign in to the user panel and open the support ticket page. Include your platform, client name, selected region and route type, and say whether the error occurs while connecting, signing in or opening an app. Note whether the issue is ongoing or only happens on a particular network, and list the steps you've tried and their results. Include the exact error message where possible. If you attach screenshots, hide passwords, subscription links, payment details and anything else unrelated to troubleshooting. Details about whether other routes or apps work are usually more helpful than simply saying that nothing works. You can add updates to the same ticket so the troubleshooting history stays together.

Speed & Routes

Check the region, route and destination app separately. Route labels identify route types; they don't replace testing the actual connection.

When things slow down at peak hours, should I change regions or routes first?

Keep the target app and task the same, compare different routes in the same region, and then consider switching regions. This makes it easier to tell whether a route is congested or the target service has changed how it determines your region. If you're on a call, transferring files or running a long task, switch between tasks to avoid interrupting an active connection. Compare page response times, playback buffering and connection stability rather than relying on a single client metric. If changing routes doesn't help, test on another local network and check for bandwidth-heavy tasks such as large file syncs. Peak-hour performance depends on your local network, the route and the destination service.

How should I choose between an IEPL dedicated line, a relayed route and a direct route?

These labels describe route paths; they aren't a speed ranking that applies to every network. First check which region the destination service requires, then compare the IEPL dedicated line, relayed route and direct route for your actual task. For calls and interactive use, focus on connection stability. For longer downloads, check sustained transfer performance as well. A nearby region doesn't guarantee a better route, and similar route names don't mean the paths are the same. Keep a familiar route that works for your task and learn which alternatives are available. See the global locations page for more details on route types. Actual performance depends on your network and results when you test it.

What areas are covered, and how should I read the region list?

VPNIz covers 110+ countries / 180+ routes. To use the region list, first narrow it down based on the destination service's region requirements, then check which routes are currently available in your client. Country and region names help identify the exit location, but don't guarantee that a website uses the same regional database or that all content will be available there. Websites may also consider account details, payment region, sign-in history and exit information, so check the result in the destination app after choosing a route. The global locations page describes regions and route types; confirm the available configurations and connection status in your client when you use it.

What should I do if ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or a streaming service reports a region issue?

First determine whether the message comes from the service's account rules or because the request couldn't be completed. Check that the selected region meets the service's current requirements and that the app is actually using that route. After switching regions, fully close and reopen the app, sign in again or refresh the session, and see whether the message changes. AI tools' persistent connections and streaming responses can also be affected by fluctuations in your local network. Streaming content may depend on both your account and the service's content library region. Route coverage doesn't guarantee ongoing access to any platform; check the results for yourself. Avoid repeatedly switching regions while performing sensitive account actions. See the AI and streaming guides for service-specific information.

Billing & Refunds

Check prices, data resets and order details separately. Before changing plans, review the result shown in the user panel.

How much do monthly plans cost, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the date your plan starts. Choose a plan based on how you use it and the usage records in your account panel; device count alone doesn't determine how much data you'll need. Video streaming, file sync and downloads all use data. A connected status in the client doesn't mean data is being used at a constant rate. Check your plan details in the user panel for remaining data and reset information. Monthly data doesn't reset on a fixed calendar date. Every plan supports unlimited devices connected at the same time. Compare all prices on the plans page.

What's the difference between a data plan and a monthly subscription?

Data plans are ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB and ¥658 for 3000GB. Data is available until used and never expires. Unlike monthly subscriptions, which reset data each month on the plan's start date, data plans may suit you better if you compare your usage frequency and data needs first. Never expires describes how the data plan works; it doesn't mean data is replenished regularly, and the price isn't a monthly fee. Check your current plan and remaining data in the user panel. If you already have a plan, read the panel's instructions before making a change. Don't assume data from different plans will be added together, combined or deducted in a particular order.

What happens to the price difference if I upgrade a monthly plan mid-cycle?

The price difference for a mid-cycle upgrade is converted into remaining days. To make a change, sign in to the user panel, open the plans page and choose your target plan. Review the change details shown with the order before proceeding. Don't estimate the final result by simply subtracting the two monthly prices, or assume that upgrading starts the same usage period over or adds a full plan's data allowance. If the displayed result isn't what you expect, keep the current plan, target plan and order details, then check with support before continuing. Monthly plan data still resets each month on the start date. Plan changes and data plans follow different rules, so check their details separately.

Which payment methods are supported, and what should I do if my plan doesn't appear after payment?

Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT are supported. Before paying, check the account, selected plan and amount shown on the order, then complete payment using the page provided in the user panel. If the plan doesn't appear after payment, check the order status in the panel and make sure you're viewing the same account used to place the order. Don't make another payment just because the page hasn't updated yet. If you need help, submit a ticket with the order details, payment status and on-screen message, hiding unrelated personal payment information. Don't post payment credentials in a public forum or transfer money to an unknown account outside the payment page. Check the order status in the panel to confirm whether payment is complete.

How long is the refund period, and how do I request a refund?

VPNIz offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund policy. To request a refund, sign in to the user panel and submit a ticket with your request and order details. Read the refund policy's eligibility requirements and full terms before submitting. You can describe any issues you've encountered to help us understand the situation, but don't include your account password or full subscription link in the ticket. Check for replies and provide any requested information in the same ticket to keep communication about the order together. The refund policy page is where to check the terms. This page makes no additional promise about processing times or how long payment providers take; check your ticket replies and payment records for updates.
